About this reel

The Daiwa 24 Certate SW 6000-P is a dedicated heavy-duty saltwater spinning reel engineered to withstand the harshest offshore environments. Built with a full aluminium monocoque body and an advanced Airdrive rotor, it delivers effortless rotation while maintaining the brute strength needed for New Zealand conditions. The low 4.9:1 power gear ratio provides massive winching torque, making it an exceptional choice whether you are dropping slow jigs for trophy Snapper or battling powerful Kingfish around the offshore reefs.

Aluminium Monocoque Body – Eliminates flex and creates a highly rigid, waterproof housing for the oversized gearing.
Airdrive Design – Reduces the weight of the ZAION rotor, offering incredibly smooth and low-inertia handle rotation.
Magsealed Technology – Uses magnetic oil to prevent saltwater and dust intrusion into the main shaft and line roller.
Tough Digigear – Machined to precise tolerances to deliver unmatched cranking power for stopping stubborn pelagics.
ATD Tough Drag System – Carbon washers provide a smooth yet forceful 15kg of drag to tire out aggressive fish.
Power Gear Ratio – The 4.9:1 gearing delivers high torque and heavy lifting power, ideal for mechanical jigging or battling deepwater targets.
