About this reel

The Daiwa - 23 SALTIST TW100XHL PESP is a premium left-handed baitcaster engineered specifically for saltwater PE line casting. Built around Daiwa's robust Hyperdrive Design and featuring the advanced T-Wing System (TWS), this reel ensures trouble-free line management and effortless casting. It is the perfect choice for New Zealand anglers targeting Snapper and inshore species with soft bait or light jigs, offering unparalleled control in a compact profile.

Hyperdrive Design – Delivers long-lasting smooth rotation and a highly rigid aluminum alloy frame for maximum durability.
T-Wing System – Minimizes casting friction to provide exceptional line release and significantly reduce backlash.
PE Special Spool – Optimized specifically for braided lines to ensure precise layering and trouble-free performance.
Hyper Tough Clutch – Resists saltwater adhesion to maintain reliable and smooth operation in harsh marine environments.
Hyperdrive Digigear – Enhances gear meshing for powerful winding under load to stop aggressive fish in their tracks.
ATD Drag System – Provides a smooth and consistent maximum drag of 5.5kg to confidently handle hard-fighting species.
