About this reel

The Daiwa 23 Airity LT2500S-DH redefines finesse fishing with its ultra-lightweight magnesium monocoque body and cutting-edge AIRDRIVE design. Weighing an astonishing 165g, this reel provides flawless rotational smoothness and maximum sensitivity for demanding New Zealand anglers. Perfectly suited for technical softbaiting in shallow wash, light estuary spinning, or working jigs for squid, the double-handle configuration ensures ultimate balance and control when every bite counts.

Magnesium Monocoque Body – Enhances structural rigidity and power while keeping the reel incredibly light and compact.
AIRDRIVE Design – Redesigned rotor, bail, spool, and shaft to significantly reduce weight and improve winding efficiency.
Tough Digigear – Machine-cut super duralumin gearing delivers long-lasting smoothness and unmatched durability under load.
ATD Type-L Drag – Features smooth initial drag start-up to protect light lines during sudden, aggressive strikes.
Magsealed Technology – A magnetic oil barrier prevents salt, water, and dust intrusion to maintain peak performance in marine environments.
Double Handle Configuration – Provides exceptional rotational balance and steady retrieves, ideal for precision presentations.
