Shimano - 20 SARAGOSA SW20000PG

The Shimano 20 Saragosa SW20000PG is a heavy-duty workhorse built to tackle the harshest saltwater environments. Engineered with a highly rigid Hagane Body and cold-forged Hagane gears, this spinning reel provides incredible cranking power without flexing under extreme pressure. Designed specifically as a Power Gear (PG) model, it is the ultimate tool for New Zealand anglers livebaiting or mechanical jigging for monster kingfish, hapuka, and bass.

• Hagane Body & Gear – Provides rigid, cold-forged strength to withstand extreme pressure from large pelagics without frame flex.
• Infinity Drive – Reduces sliding resistance on the main shaft, significantly enhancing smoother and more powerful cranking under heavy loads.
• X-Protect System – Offers advanced IPX8 water resistance to protect the line roller and internal mechanisms from corrosive saltwater elements.
• Cross Carbon Drag – Delivers up to 22kg of smooth, waterproof stopping power to tame aggressive runs from trophy fish.
• Power Gear (PG) Ratio – The 4.4:1 ratio provides the essential low-end torque needed for deep water jigging and battling stubborn bottom dwellers.
