About this reel

The Shimano 24 Vanford C3000SDH is built with a highly rigid yet lightweight CI4+ body and a Magnumlite rotor, offering ultra-responsive cranking power for the dedicated New Zealand angler. Equipped with a shallow spool and a specialized double handle, this reel provides the ultimate balance for precision eging (squid fishing) and light soft bait setups targeting wary snapper in the shallows. Its advanced InfinityXross and Anti-Twist Fin technologies ensure flawless line management and gear durability when fighting aggressive local species.

CI4+ Body Construction – Delivers exceptional rigidity while keeping the overall reel weight incredibly light for all-day casting comfort
Magnumlite Rotor – Significantly reduces rotational inertia, providing quick start-up response and superior lure control
Double Handle Design – Offers enhanced balance and stability during the retrieve, making it ideal for precise squid jigging or finesse techniques
Shallow Spool – Perfectly sized for lighter PE lines, removing the need for excessive backing when targeting shallow-water species
InfinityXross Technology – Distributes load evenly across the gear teeth, greatly improving gear durability during intense battles with strong fish
Anti-Twist Fin – Prevents line tangles around the roller, ensuring flawless line management in harsh marine conditions
